Ashland University Art + Design Students served as jurors for the 2018 Congressional Art Competition through the 7th District with Congressman Bob Gibbs.
The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage the artistic talent in the nation, as well as in the 7th congressional district. The artists of the top ten submissions will be invited to a reception at Ashland University on April 30th from 5pm-7pm. The Congressional Art Competition began in 1982 to provide an opportunity for members of Congress to encourage and recognize the artistic talents of their young constituents. Since then, over 650,000 high school students have been involved with the nationwide competition.
