Faculty Happenings-

What have your AU Art + Design Faculty been up to lately-

Priscilla Roggenkamp, professor of art, exhibits her artwork "Bucket of Things 
Worth Remembering" in an exhibition called Between the Seams.  
The exhibition is at the Women Made Gallery in Chicago, IL.

Cynthia C. Petry, professional instructor of art, had work curated in Flat Rate Box- a group exhibition at Modified/Arts Gallery in Phoenix, Ariz., from Dec. 15, 2017- Jan. 13, 2018. Petry's work was also selected as part of the Dairy Barn Arts Center OH+5: Ohio Border 10th Biennial which opens Jan. 19 and runs through March 16, 2018, in Athens, Ohio.


Keith Dull, professor of art, contributed original artwork to Carol and John's Comic Book Shop fundraiser in December 2017 to provide 13,200 meals for the Cleveland area neighbors in need.

Art + Design Faculty Exhibition Opens Next Week

The Coburn Gallery announces its upcoming art exhibition featuring the works from the Ashland University Art + Design Department Faculty. This annual exhibition highlights the two dimensional and three dimensional of the current faculty as professional artists exhibiting works in their prospective areas. The art department faculty pursue active studio careers in addition to their teaching endeavors. The exhibition opens on Thursday January 18 and runs through February 9, 2018.

The exhibition features the following art department faculty: Keith Dull, Priscilla Roggenkamp, Dan McDonald, Cynthia Petry and Michael Bird.
The Coburn Gallery will host an opening reception on Thursday, January 18, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The reception is free and open to the public. For more about the 2018 Faculty Art Exhibition visit us on the web atwww.ashland.edu/coburngallery or find us on Facebook.

The Coburn Gallery is open from 10am-5pm Monday through Friday and 12pm-4pm on Saturday/ Sunday. Gallery admission is free and open to the public.
