Keith Dull joined Ashland University's Art Department in 1999. He currently teaches drawing, 2-D Design, and printmaking. He is well known for his printmaking prowess both on campus and throughout the U.S. Dull received a BFA in printmaking and painting from Indiana University, Herron School of Art in 1992 and an MFA in printmaking from the University of South Dakota in 1995. In 1998, he developed the Encaustic Intaglio printing process, which incorporates melted wax to create printing plates.
Dull's print series entitled "Dead Ends and Domestic Talismans" will be on display at the Mansfield Art Center this summer, June 15-July 27 after enjoying a lengthy exhibition this fall at the Roger W.Rogers Gallery of Williamette University in Salem, Oregon. using a wide range of techniques that include color reduction relief, intaglio, lithography and mixed media.
